A confidential discussion covering the artwork, purpose of the Valuation (Insurance, Capital Gain, Estate, Donation, Auction or Litigation), reporting deadline and intended audience. Engagement suitability, professional fees and delivery timeline are confirmed.
Engagement Letter
A formal engagement letter defines the scope, basis of value, deliverables, fees and turnaround time. No valuation work commences without an approved engagement agreement.
Inspection
Detailed physical inspection of the Acrylic Painting, supported by photography under standard, raking and, where required, ultraviolet illumination. Condition reporting includes acrylic-specific observations, paint-film integrity, chalking, substrate condition, adhesion and provenance review.
Research & Analysis
Attribution review, provenance verification, condition analysis and market research using published auction results from Saffronart, AstaGuru, Christie's, Sotheby's, Bonhams, Phillips, Pundole's and DAG. Comparable sales are carefully analysed before valuation conclusions are reached.
Draft Report
A professionally prepared draft valuation is internally reviewed before finalisation. Additional factual information such as provenance records, restoration history or exhibition documentation may be incorporated during this stage.
Final Signed Report
The completed Government Approved Valuation Report is issued on official letterhead and personally signed by Er. Nitesh Shrivastava. Clients receive a digital report together with one professionally bound hard copy as standard.
